Let me tell you about one of my favorite sessions to photograph – bridal boudoir. ( If you missed Part One of this series, you can find that HERE . If you missed Part Two, you can find that HERE .
One of the things that I hear the most, especially as people get older, is the fact that they regret not creating more tangible memories from their life.

Not only because they would love to revisit these moments that might have become very blurry with the passage of time, but also to show them to their grandkids. It is hard to think about investing for the future and it is even harder to understand the importance of investing in the future of your memories.
And they are always priceless. There are big moments in life and a wedding is one of them. It is easy to get lost in the preparation for the big day.
We all understand the importance of this moment and having a professional photographer for that day is a no-brainer. But there is something that gets lost easily in the mix of the planning and focusing on getting married. It is that priceless time right before it. The magic of this time is easily overshadowed by the excitement and counting days till you can finally officially say “yes”.
That is why bridal boudoir in my opinion is the most magical type of boudoir photography. Because it has the power to make you remember how beautiful you are and who you are.
This is not a selfish feeling – this a beautiful moment of clarity that helps you remember that there is also always “me” in “we”. And it is important to not forget about yourself completely.
There is also something very special to the brides that decide to photograph these moments in a more intimate setting. There is vulnerability, grace, beauty, optimism, and happiness – some of the most complicated emotions that are special to that time of your life. They help to create one-of-a-kind portraits that would be impossible to capture otherwise.
On the day of the wedding, it is difficult to find time for portraits. It is of course not impossible but having a bridal boudoir session allows you to be relaxed and take your time to create memories that you will love to come back to and even gift them to your significant other to share.
You don’t have to rush anywhere and you can be sure that you are going to document your veil, or even your wedding dress, in a beautiful and meaningful way.
Then, after many years, you can still come back to this moment. Open your album and relive the excitement and anticipation that was making you radiate so beautifully yet again.
