SOOZY PROJECT?
Sometimes courage looks like a quiet choice — like saying yes to life, even when it means changing everything you see in the mirror.
When our dear friend Suzy underwent a preventative mastectomy earlier this year, she faced it with laughter, tears, and unwavering grace. Mateusz photographed her on the day of her surgery — not to document pain, but to honor her strength.

That experience moved us deeply.
And it inspired something bigger.
This November, we’re turning that story into a movement of love, visibility, and healing.
For every boudoir or portrait session booked between
November 23–December 2, 2025, Silk + Salt will gift a free photo session to someone who has undergone a mastectomy.
The session fee ($99, but normally $500!) does not include products or digitals. No interest payment plans are available on all product and digital orders! See below for more details. ;)
Each booked session helps us offer another woman the chance to see herself through a lens of compassion — to feel beautiful, whole, and seen again.
This isn’t a sale.
It’s a circle of giving.

ROCK YOUR SESSION
RELAX! Even if you show up completely unprepared, we've got you covered! From hair and make-up to wardrobe to posing, we will hold your hand every step of the way. Plus there's wine; need we say more? ;)
YOUR REVEAL
It's finally here! You get to see your stunning images for the first time and try not to cry. (Yes, that IS you!) We will show you samples of all our products and help you select your best images. No-interest payment plans? You bet!

Suzy — a woman who met one of life’s hardest choices with grace, humor, and honesty.
She allowed Mateusz to photograph her on the morning of her surgery, offering an intimate look at what strength really looks like.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT $99 SESSION FEE BOOKINGS!
1. WE HAVE CLOSED OUR STUDIO! This is allowing us the flexibility to rent a studio particular to each client's needs.
2. The $99 (normally $500) session fee covers everything listed below.
3. Products and digitals are purchased at your Photo Reveal & Ordering Session about a week after your shoot.
4. No-interest payment plans are available, up to 18 months of payments.
5. You can use this session for a solo or couples or polyam shoot.
6. You will have the option to keep your entire photo shoot private.
7. This cannot be combined with any other offer. Cannot be used towards previously booked sessions.
8. Regular sessions booked for $99 must be scheduled for a date between December 1st, 2025 and April 1st, 2026.
9. If you have a balance with us, it must be paid in full before you book your session.

What Do Products Cost?
WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS? :)
We have a few different options that you can choose from to pay for your products and digitals:
1. Pay in full the day of your Photo Reveal and Ordering Session.
2. A Payment Plan through Silk + Salt Photography. This payment plan is interest-free, but products are not delivered until paid in full. You will need to pay a minimum down-payment of $200 on the day of your Photo Reveal to begin the payment plan. You may schedule your payments for up to 18 months.
3. PayPal Credit. This Payment Plan is through PayPal and is interest-free up to 6 months. It is kind of like a credit card. We get paid in full with this option and you pay your products off through PayPal, which means you will receive your products much quicker. 4. Pre-payment plan: Paying for your products in full before your shoot makes you eligible for exclusive bonuses! Contact Pamela for more details.

Soozy Sessions:
The Soozy Project was inspired by our dear friend Suzy, who chose a preventive mastectomy and inspired us with her courage and grace.
If you know someone (including yourself!) who has been through a mastectomy and deserves to see themselves through a lens of love, we invite you to nominate them below. All nominations will be handled with the utmost respect and care. 💗
If you have already done a paid photo session with us in the past and have had a mastectomy, you automatically get a free Soozy Session! Contact us to schedule.

Mateusz JagieÅ‚Å‚o (he/him) was born and raised at the dawn of the internet and digital revolution. A camera is not only an instrument in his hands – it’s also his weapon of choice in destroying people’s insecurities. He simply refuses to take photos without a deeper, more organic, and authentic connection.
