Preparing for Your Couples Boudoir Session:

We know how nerve-wracking your first boudoir photography experience can be. We do everything in our power to help calm your anxiety and prepare you for your photo shoot. After you reserve your date in the studio, we provide a comprehensive guide to help you make the most of your experience. We also offer a pre-shoot planning session over Zoom to ensure you feel prepared, safe, and comfortable with us. In the meantime, here are a few essential tips to get you started:

Communication is Key: Before the session, have open and honest conversations with your partner about your expectations, boundaries, and desires. This will help ensure that both of you are comfortable and on the same page.

Wardrobe Selection: Choose outfits that reflect your personalities and make you feel confident and sexy. Whether it's romantic lingerie, cozy sweaters, or what you’d wear on a date night together, the key is to choose something that makes you both feel comfortable and expresses your unique connection. We proudly offer a wide range of styles and sizes in our client closet just for women. Please feel free to borrow everything from us, bring your own things, or a combination of the two.

Professional Hair and Makeup: Enjoy some pampering by one of our world-class stylists! It’s included in your session fee!! We’ll help you achieve whatever look you prefer, from natural to glamorous, or somewhere in between. And while you’re getting all dolled up, we’ll have a personalized music playlist playing for you and some hors d’oeuvres and wine to pamper all your senses!

The Photoshoot Experience:

At Silk + Salt Photography, we strive to create an empowering atmosphere of safety and comfort. Throughout your couples boudoir session, Mateusz will guide you through all the poses and facial expressions that feel natural and authentic to capture genuine moments of intimacy between you two. You do not need to come into the studio knowing how to model! It’s our job to make you look good. It’s your job to show up, have fun, and reconnect with your partner. We encourage couples to express their love in their own way, whether it's through tender embraces, playful interactions, or stolen glances. Our goal is to create images that tell your unique love story, preserving the special connection and chemistry you share.

Displaying Your Love Story:

Once your couples boudoir session is complete, we will schedule your image reveal and ordering session. At your reveal, you’ll see a slideshow of at least 50 edited images along with samples of all of our products. We offer a range of luxury options for displaying your stunning images, including customizable albums, gallery-quality, ready to hang wall art, and web-resolution digitals. Pamela will guide you through the selection process, ensuring that your cherished memories are beautifully showcased.
